“I’m licensed and need to fulfill my CE requirements…”
To uphold an active North Carolina real estate broker license, brokers must complete 8 CE hours by June 10th every year. For NONprovisional or provisional brokers, the 4 hour General Update Course & a 4 hour Elective are required. For those at a deemed by NCREC as Brokers-in-Charge or BIC- Eligible, the 4 hour BIC Update and a 4 hour Elective are required. Course descriptions below of what KBRES offers.

Preregistration is requested to ensure a spot. Seating may be limited. Students arriving 15 minutes late can not be admitted.
Be sure to download/print your current pocket card from NCREC.gov. You need it for class. In most cases, refunds will not be awarded; however, students will be credited towards another class. Some exceptions apply. In the rare event Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled registered students will be notified ASAP. Classroom temps may vary during class. You may want to bring a jacket. Refreshments Provided. Please arrive 15 minutes before live class begins for check-in and 20 minutes before Zoom Classes.

Course Description
Class #3340. NAR requires an Ethics class every THREE years. Dec. 31, 2024 is the current deadline. You must have a NAR approved Ethics course between Jan. 1st, 2019 – Dec. 31st, 2021. Students review case studies as the “judge” and discuss cases studies based on actual situation of alleged unethical content. We review the Code and discuss varies way we as agents can be proactive to ethical situations. The class is interactive and involves class participation and discussion, even sometimes debates.

Course Description
Class #3309. This 4-hour CE elective course addresses new and revised
REALTOR Professional Standards enforcement mechanisms. This course does provide the credit needed for the every three year REALTOR requirement. Current deadline is December 31, 2021 NAR requires an Ethics class every THREE years. You must have a NAR approved Ethics course between Jan. 1st, 2019 – Dec. 31st, 2021.
